I'm terrified about doing IB i will be the first class to go through it at my american school, so everyone will be new at it. We're only allowed to do the Diploma program and i am extremely worried that i won't be prepared to handle everything. Our school is infamous for not preparing student properly for tasks ahead. Any advice?
  • do not get overwhelmed. like honestly otherwise you’ll start to freak out and won’t finish anything
  • do manage your time. and prioritise. 
  • revise revise revise :P 
  • if you have a study hall use them. haha. like seriously i didn’t i watched like the inbetweeners series with my friends. kinda wished i used it for them little homework’s you know. :P 
  • read the syllabus. because for biology you answer them as if they are questions. so if you can answer everything on the syllabus you’ll be fine. plus teachers have a tendency to teach shit that isn’t actually on the syllabus that we need to know. so before starting a new topic or whatever make sure you know what you need to know. this is also a good way to study. :D
  • try to finish CAS as soon as possible. 
  • make sure your extended essay is FINISHED by the end of your first year. preferably the first half of the first year. because the 2nd half of IB1 is a lot of work because thats when you get you IAs and stuff. and then IB2 1st half is finishing all of them. the thing with EE is that the research takes FOREVER. so watch out for that. 
  • seriously it isn’t hard. its ALL about time management

haha. i took

HL -  biology, A1 english, and business and management 

SL - economics, ab initio spanish and maths studies. 

but sometimes my friend answers these questions and she takes 

HL - Biology, Chemistry and Psychology 

SL - Maths, ab initio spanish and A1 english
